Turkey is the fifth largest tomato exporter in the world, accounting for 7-8% of global tomato exports. European consumers mainly prefer grape tomatoes and table tomatoes. These varieties are grown in greenhouses. Therefore, its pesticide content is very low and at an acceptable percentage level.
