Avocado imports have been growing steadily from 2014 to 2021. However, there is a big jump in 2022, with annual imports increasing 2.5 times from 325 tons in 2021. Probably due to the influx of Russian citizens into Georgia and the recovery of the Georgian economy from the COVID-19 pandemic. Both of these factors may have significantly increased local demand for avocados.
