Bell peppers come in a variety of shapes and colours, from the standard full bell shape, to chunky mini peppers, snack-sized 'lunchbox' peppers and long, thin horns. The green pepper is an unripe fruit that turns red once ripe. Depending on the variety, peppers may ripen to pale yellow, fiery orange, deep red or dark purple. Compared to fully ripe bell peppers, green peppers have a slightly bitter taste. Bell peppers are rich in vitamins and other antioxidants and are low in calories, making them a healthy addition to our diet.

Due to the difference in maturity of green peppers, different colors will appear when harvested, and it is time-consuming and laborious to manually carry out color screening. Our company has recently produced a four-channel weight sorting processing line. What is different from before is that we have added a color grading system that can not only automatically identify and sort peppers of different colors, but also identify the size and external quality problems of green peppers, accurately sorted out, the sorting speed is fast, the efficiency is high, the selected peppers are of high quality, and the selection rate can reach more than 99%.
