On September 10, the first direct train from China to Georgia left Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, and arrived in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on October 4, carrying 41 containers. This is a new creation of intercontinental railway of Maersk, a giant of container shipping company. In order to meet the import demand of Georgia, Maersk has developed and launched direct trains connecting China and Georgia. The smooth arrival of the trains enabled Maersk to cover the Caucasus (Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenian) services in addition to its seaborne products. As a company specialized in exporting fruit and vegetable graders, I'm glad to hear such news.
