On January 15th, 2019, our company participated in the annual sweet potato exhibition. We mainly show the sweet potato cleaning grading line.In the exhibition, visitors and inquiries about our products stream, and our sweet potato processing line is very popular.
In the exhibition, we got acquainted with professor Lu from the potato crop research institute of zhejiang A & F university. He came to the exhibition to show the new technology of keeping sweet potatoes fresh developed by his team. Professor Lu expressed his willingness to cooperate with us and he hopes to combine their technology and our equipment to solve the problem that the sweet potato industry is worried about. In the past ,there is the difficulty of storing sweet potato after washing.
Professor Lu gave us a detailed introduction of their new technology, fruit glue coating technology. Sweet potatoes are easy to rot and deteriorate after cleaning. Therefore, the effective fruit preservation technology is adopted, which can effectively reduce the loss of nutrients and water, keep the potato skin smooth and flat, normal appearance and color, reduce the decay rate and extend the shelf life, thus achieve the preservation effect. In addition, the fruit glue coating itself is edible, high safety.
This upcoming technology is inspiring our company, because our sweet potato processing line can provide support for this new technology. This line consists of bubble washing tank, elevator, brushes & high pressure water spray cleaning, inspection table, fruit glue coating soaking tank, drying and grading part. It adopts 2 conveyor belts with many stainless steel roller pipes. The gaps between roller pipes increase gradually in the process of belts moving in the same direction, and the fruits drop from gaps from small to large size. Suitable for grading fruits and vegetables like carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. Soft brushes will not hurt the skin or the products. After passing fruit glue coating soaking tank, sweet potato surface has uniform fruit glue coating.
