Mexican Lime Sizes Affected by Drought

The ongoing drought in Mexico has impacted the size of limes, similar to its effect on lemons. Small-sized limes (grades 250 and 230) are abundant, making up 70-80% of production and priced at $14-$16 per box. However, larger limes (grade 110) are scarce, with prices reaching $30-$32 per box.

This price disparity highlights the challenges: an oversupply of small limes and a shortage of large limes, complicating supply and demand management for growers and suppliers.
