Forecasts from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) show promising prospects for Mexican avocado production in 2024, with production expected to be 2.77 million tonnes (MMT) as new orchards reach full production. This forecast represents a significant increase of 5% compared to the previous year.

Mexico’s growth in the global avocado market is clear, with the country playing an important role in meeting demand, particularly from the United States and other export destinations.
