According to the Kabar News Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan has drafted a protocol with the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China on the inspection and quarantine requirements for the export of fresh apricots and peaches from Kyrgyzstan to China.

According to the requirements, fresh apricots (Prunus armeniaca) and peaches (Prunus persica) exported from Kyrgyzstan must comply with China's plant quarantine requirements and safety standards. Experts from the Chinese Customs will inspect the production and export-related sites of fresh apricots and peaches, and then compile an orchard register that meets export requirements based on the inspection results.
It is understood that Kyrgyzstan has a long history of planting apples, cherries, apricots and other fruits with excellent quality. Previously, the country's cherries, melons and grapes have been approved by the General Administration of Customs of China.
