On 11th may 2023, China signed the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade with Ecuador, which means there will be less taxes for products to China exported by exporters in Ecuador. This is really good news for exporters in Ecuador.

When we refer to fruits in Ecuador, bananas, dragon fruit and cocoa will come into our minds. When the agreement comes into effect, the tariff for these products will be gradually reduced from the current 5 to 20 percent to zero.
