Recently, we received an inquiry from our Australian customer, who noted that they urgently needed an AI optical sorter that could meet large processing volumes of capsicums and allow flexible sorting settings.
Capsicums are easy to corrode and get distorted, and traditional sorting methods can’t accurately spot surface defects. In response to customers’ core demands, we recommended our 4-lane pepper optical sorting machine. This equipment can process 4-8 tons of peppers per hour, easily coping with large-scale production needs. We enable customers to set custom criteria, with flexible adjustments to three core parameters: color, size, and defects.
For capsicum size, customers can set width and length ranges as needed—such as 70~90mm or 90~110mm. For weight, our machine sensing can be accurate to 1g. As for specification grading (from XS, S, M, L to XL), adjustments can also be made flexibly. All these capabilities ensure that sorting results better match market preferences.
The best aspect about this equipment is that it can accurately identify surface blemishes, which is also what customers pay special attention to. Whether it is marks, cuts, bruises, heat stress, wrinkles, or even cracks near the fruit stem, they can all be identified by the cameras. This 4-line optical grader is equipped with 17 outlets, which means that multiple grades can be completed in a single sorting.
Traditional manual sorting is not only inefficient, but also tends to result in inconsistent grading; and ordinary weight or roller grading cannot identify flaws. Our optical sorter perfectly fills this gap . If you are also worried about the efficiency, accuracy or flexibility of pepper sorting, feel free to contact us and let us empower your production with our technical strength.
