It is a local precious main variety and a national geographical indication product in my country. It has been a "royal tribute" since the Tang Dynasty and is known as "treasure among fruits ". Lingwu is known as the "hometown of Chinese long jujube", and long jujube has a history of more than 1300 years of cultivation. In the counters of supermarkets, we often see extra-grade dates, first-grade dates, and second-grade dates that are evenly classified and of the same size, so the use of jujube graders in Ningxia is very common.

However, as the output of Lingwu jujube continues to increase, manual sorting of jujubes can no longer meet the needs of the industry for rapid production. One is that there is a shortage of labor force, and the other is that customers require the size of dates to be accurate to millimeters, which is difficult to achieve by sorting with human eyes.
