According to reports, on November 16, Alibaba announced that Alibaba's digital agriculture Xi'an centralized transportation and processing center (hereinafter referred to as Xi'an warehouse) officially opened its warehouse. Since then, Xi'an will also become a digital hub of agricultural products represented by fruits in the five northwest provinces (autonomous regions).

According to the report, Alibaba's digital agricultural collection and processing center (origin warehouse) integrates the storage, preservation, grading, sorting, packaging, delivery, and collection of agricultural products. It is not only a logistics warehouse, but also a collection of modern production lines, intelligent central control systems, big data connecting consumption and production, food safety inspection systems, and so on.

It is understood that on the day of Double Eleven in 2020, the Xi'an warehouse in trial operation has poured in more than 200,000 agricultural products orders in nine hours, far exceeding the daily limit of 150,000 orders. The analysis of big data in advance has exerted its power, and the warehouse is stocked and pre-packaged in advance. All 16 intelligent sorting and packing lines were started, and the flow peak was smoothly passed.

According to the person in charge of the Xi’an warehouse, in addition to Shaanxi apples, Gansu onions, Ningxia potatoes, Xinjiang Xiaobai apricots and Korla fragrant pears have been included in the plan recently; within one year, there will be five projects in Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia. Nearly a hundred kinds of fruits and vegetables from Xi'an were "flashed" to all parts of the country.
