According to the announcement, Zambian blueberries are allowed to be imported from the chisamba region and can be transported to China by air or sea. The specific requirements are as follows: 1.11 ° C or below continuous cold treatment for 15 days; 1.67 ° C or below for 17 days; 2.22 ° C or below for 21 days.

Notes for importing blueberries

Blueberries should come from designated production areas, orchards, packaging plants and cold storage. The list of approved companies can be found on the website of the General Administration of Customs.

Blueberry packaging box should be marked in English with blueberry name, place of origin, country, orchard or its registration number, packaging plant and registration number, etc.

The blueberry varieties shall be consistent with the content permitted by the license, the quantity shall not exceed the permitted quantity, and the unapproved blueberry varieties shall not be included.

Blueberries should be free of soil, branches, leaves, diseases, pests, weeds and other dangerous pests that China is concerned about.

When blueberries enter the country, they need to provide a phytosanitary certificate and a cold treatment result report to the Chinese customs, and the content of pesticide residues, heavy metals and other toxic and harmful substances should meet China's national standards.
