The El Niño phenomenon has caused mango production in the two countries to hit record lows. Mango prices from November last year to February this year grow rapidly.

Mango sales from Central America are also gradually increasing. Costa Rica and Nicaragua have smaller mango production, and Guatemala is the largest mango supplier in Central America.
