A New Course Connects China with Brazil

A new shipping route opened between China and the northeastern Brazilian state of Ceará is expected to significantly improve Brazil's foreign trade logistics system.

The new route directly connects China with the Port of Pecón in Fortaleza, the capital of Ceará State. It can shorten the transportation time from the current 60 days to 30 days, saving 50% of the time cost, greatly improving logistics efficiency and reducing logistics costs. This new route will promote the exports of fruits in Brazil such as mangoes, passion fruits, cherimoya and Brazilian Cherry. It is a good chance for fruit exporters to expand their market in China.
