Kiwi growing and harvesting

Kiwifruit develops through five natural stages, culminating in its harvest in late summer. FstSort offers a specialized sorting solution that handles the delicate fruit gently to prevent bruising. This efficient process allows for better packaging and higher profitability for growers, with scalable equipment available for all farm sizes.

Kiwifruit goes through five stages during its growth: budding, flowering, fruit development, fruit ripening, and dormancy. When the temperature rises to around 10°C, kiwifruit trees begin to grow and sprout. After 1-2 months, through insect or artificial pollination, successfully pollinated flowers develop into small fruits, a process that lasts about 2-3 months. The fruits ripen in late summer and early autumn; they are firm after harvesting but can be eaten after softening. As autumn temperatures drop, kiwifruit trees enter dormancy to prepare for the following year's budding and growth.
