Zimbabwean blueberries target the Chinese market and strive for an export target of 30,000 tons
According to the Zimbabwe Herald, the Zimbabwe Horticulture Development Commission (HDC) said that if government policies, long-term investment and other operational challenges are resolved, Zimbabwean blueberry export capacity is expected to increase significantly from 8,000 tons this year to 30,000 tons in 2030. Currently, Zimbabwean blueberries have entered the EU market through the Netherlands.
