About 700,000 hectares of garlic are grown in China, accounting for more than 60 percent of the global total. For garlic farmers, they can either sell fresh or dried garlic directly, or process it into garlic powder, garlic chips, garlic oil, garlic sauce, or sugar garlic, vinegar garlic, salt garlic and so on.

As the manager of the garlic processing plant, Nie Xin said: "In order to make the specifications and quality indicators of garlic meet the standard, garlic needs to be graded, and garlic is divided into different grades according to its size."
