According to the "Hainan Daily" report, finger lemons originating from Australia have been cultivated in Qionghai, Hainan for eight years, and completed the EU International Friendly Agriculture (GAP) certification in January this year. This means that the finger lemons grown in Qionghai have the quality standards and qualifications for export to the EU.

Australian finger orange has a good name of "caviar in fruit", not only because of its high price, even in Europe, where it is more common, the price is as high as 100 euro per kilogram. The fruit is finger shaped, apex pointed, some curved, base slightly narrow and flat. Based on the shape of finger lemons, this fruit is suitable for sorting with a roller grader.
The annual output, the high price and the vast market are the characteristics of Finger Lemon. In the European market, the price of fresh fruits can reach 100 Euros/kg (approximately RMB 782.21), which is a veritable high value-added agricultural product.
"As we all know, Europe has extremely high requirements for food safety. The ability to obtain certification shows that the finger lemons grown in Qionghai have passed strict inspections and are absolutely healthy, green and safe food," Qionghai Agriculture and Rural Areas The person in charge of the bureau said.
